The Bar

A double-height oval bar is the centerpiece of the open dining space and features signature marquee lighting, painted antique mirrors, and a custom basket weave mosaic tile floor that wraps around the bar. Inspired by a tablecloth, this flooring repeats in the Private Dining Room and the central dining areas. The bar also highlights Yardbird Chicago’s signature navy accent color that can be found around the space to contrast the neutral color palette. 

Main Dining Room

Wine Cellar: 22 Seated, Semi-Private

The main dining area on the first floor is adjacent to the open expo kitchen and is engulfed by a cove ceiling. Tables and expo high top seating with custom furniture introduces basketweave baseball stitching on the leather seating, bringing Chicago’s baseball heritage into the space. 

Mezzanine Level

Upper Dining Room: 100 Seated Semi-Private Dining Room: 40 Seated 

The restaurant has a grand staircase that wraps behind the Bourbon Room to get to the Mezzanine Level. The left side of the mezzanine floor features leather, banquette seating and a unique, double-height ceiling with a sloped left side and mirrored walls. Custom- designed ceiling sconces include suspended metal lights over the tables and a unique feather pendant. The upper tier of the dining space is open and allows for a view of the main floor and double-height, central bar. 

The right side of the mezzanine is made up of a Semi-Private Dining Room connecting to the energy of the Main Dining Room with a sense of intimacy. The pendant lights featured in the Private Dining Room are signature Yardbird designs and custom floor tiles carried over from the drawing room center the tables.
